Global Case Management System (GCMS) notes are detailed records of your immigration file with IRCC. They are used to track officer notes, file progress, and reasons for delays or refusals.
How It Works
Eligibility – Only Canadian citizens, PRs, or individuals in Canada can request notes under the Access to Information Act.
Receive notes – Usually delivered within 30–40 days in PDF format.
Why It Matters
