Frequently Asked Questions
How much does spousal sponsorship cost with an immigration consultant?
Our professional fee for a spousal sponsorship application, inland or outland, is $2,500 plus HST, paid in two milestones: $1,250 when you sign the retainer agreement and $1,250 before your application is submitted. Government fees are separate and are paid directly to IRCC. Every file is prepared personally by Jas Dhillon, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, CICC Licence No. R-1041495.
Do I have to pay the full professional fee upfront?
No. Fees are paid in instalments tied to milestones in your file. For spousal sponsorship and Express Entry, half is due at retainer signing and half before your application is submitted. For PNP + Federal, only $250 is due at EOI registration. The next $1,250 is due when your PNP application is filed after an invitation, and the final $1,250 after nomination, when your federal PR application is submitted.
Are government fees included in the professional fee?
No. The professional fee covers preparing and submitting your application. Government fees are set by IRCC, and by the province for PNP applications, and you pay those directly. Your retainer agreement sets out the exact fees for your pathway before you sign.
Is my consultation fee credited if I hire you?
Yes. If you retain our services within 14 days of your consultation, your consultation fee is credited toward your professional fee.
What if my situation is more complex?
The fees on this page are for standard applications. Complex files, for example refusals, criminality, medical issues, or misrepresentation, are quoted individually. We tell you before you hire us, and any custom fee is agreed in writing before work begins.
