Rural & Northern (Community) Immigration Pilot
Canada’s Rural Community Immigration Pilot extends economic immigration options to select smaller communities that need skilled workers and are ready to support them. It replaces the older RNIP model.
How it works:
Confirm eligibility – You need a valid job offer from an employer in one of the approved rural communities, at least one year (1,560 hours) of related experience in the last three years, required language and educational credentials, and enough funds to support your family.
Submit application – Apply for a recommendation through IRCC’s portal using the designated guide.
Receive support – If the community endorses you, you can apply for permanent residence. Some streams also offer a work permit while your PR is processed.
Why this might be your path:
Designed for promising newcomers and smaller Canadian communities, it’s supportive and targeted.
You can settle and thrive in regions where your skills are highly valued.
Community-driven, giving you practical support and connection from day one.
At Nivara Immigration, we help you identify communities that match your profile, guide you through their specific requirements, and assist with your endorsement and PR steps.
